The Ningbo Municipal Archives Bureau website archiving pilot project passed the acceptance of the National Bureau
On December 9th, experts from the Technical Department of the State Archives Administration conducted an inspection and acceptance of the “Archive Pilot on Websites and Webpages” project of the State Archives Administration in Ningbo.
The expert group listened to the project work report and research report, and watched the system demonstration. After inquiries and discussions, it was believed that the Ningbo Municipal Archives Bureau put forward a work plan for web site archiving in Ningbo City, developed an archive management system, and promulgated the "Interim Measures for Ningbo City Government Website Web Page Archiving Management", and launched the web page within the scope of Ningbo City. Archive-related work has accumulated experience for the management of web archives on government websites. At the same time, the file format standards of the website's webpage archiving system were determined, the website's webpage archiving business process was clarified, the website's webpage archiving scope and storage period were established, the website's webpage metadata plan was compiled, and keyless signature technology was adopted. The experimental results are practical, operable and reproducible.
Director Wang Dazhong of the Technical Department of the National Archives Bureau fully affirmed the staged and fruitful results of the pilot work, and the spirit of the project team’s courage to explore, pioneer and innovate, and its down-to-earth and diligent work style, hoping to continue to carry out this work in the future. Further thinking about how to better provide the public with utilization, guarantee service effects and other topics, further expand the scope of application and work effectiveness.

In the future, we will take the opportunity of implementing the national pilot project to further strengthen our confidence and determination to do a good job in the "Ningbo Pilot" and "Ningbo Practice" for the construction of archives informatization.
