Magnificent 70 years, "Ningbo" creates brilliance-the archive photo exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China sparked a warm response
Co-organized by Ningbo Archives Bureau, Ningbo Archives, Ningbo New Fourth Army History Research Association, and co-organized by the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee Party History Research Office, "Magnificent 70 Years "Nong" Creates Brilliance-Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China Archives Photo Exhibition 》Recently exhibited in Ningbo Archives.
This exhibition extracts several fragments from the 70-year history of Ningbo, and in the form of archive pictures, it shows the real appearance of Ningbo at various stages of historical development in three dimensions, and the earth-shaking tremendous changes in people's lives and urban appearance.
. The exhibition is divided into four chapters, namely "Welcome to Liberation", "Zhengrong Years", "Eastern Style" and "Writing Brilliance". A total of 195 historical photos and 114 related materials witnessing the development of Ningbo are exhibited. These archives, from small to large, outline the course and trajectory of Ningbo's 70-year development, and also show the glory and dreams of several generations of Ningbo people.
Starting in May 1949, Ningbo "Welcome to Liberation" began its narrative, and the opening chapter witnessed the historical moment when the people of Ningbo stood up with a panoramic archive historical data. It exhibited precious archives such as "Photograph of Chiang Kai-shek in Xikou", "Mao Zedong's Telegram Instructions on Ningbo Liberation", "Picture of the People's Liberation Army Crossing the Lingqiao", and ""Ningbo Liberation Record". From the liberation of Ningbo in 1949 to the "gone years" before the reform and opening up, Ningbo entered a period of comprehensive socialist construction. Under the leadership of the party, Ningbo's economic construction and various social undertakings have made great progress. The reform and opening up of the "Eastern style is coming". On June 1, 1979, the State Council approved the opening of Ningbo Port to the outside world. Since then, the situation of Ningbo's reform and opening up has been very good all the way, and it is heading towards a modern international port city.
In July 2003, Comrade Xi Jinping, then Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, made a major decision on the "Eighth Eighth Strategy." In the past 16 years, Ningbo has always kept in mind the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions to Ningbo's work, comprehensively deepened reform and opening up, and built a modern metropolis with higher standards, greater courage, wider vision, and higher taste.
